This is the current project that I am working on over the last several weeks. I am collaborating within a team of five, to which I am the art asset designer, illustrator and animator. I am also in charge of producing the sound effects for the game as well as theme music which I have written two original music pieces. Although I intend to mainly focus on the programming side of things; I also wish to express some of my other creative talents’ to show some diversity in my skill set. The game is 2D platformer which depicts a apple ninja fighting against a hoard of evil vegetables that have kidnapped his friend, Lemon. The target audience for this game is from six to ten and is due to be complete late August 2014.

Apache Assault is a 2nd trimester assignment to which we had to make dual stick shooter using the fundamentals of 2D space. This was a challenging and fun experience to which I gained a lot of knowledge of what to do and plenty more of what not to do. I created the assets for the game which you see above except for the sand texture, which was a royalty free public asset.

This game was requested for coding homework and was intended to mimic the gameplay of Flappy Bird. All of the assets that you see above are not mine and again, are royalty free public assets. My three children helped me with the sound effects for this project by blowing raspberries to which I applied to the game as the engine noise of the plane. This was a fun and small project that only took a few hours.

Trying to keep my coding skills from seizing up over trimester break I completed this remake of the classic Pong game. This game is purely multiplayer and serves as a reminder to how far games have come. However this game should not be underestimated as, although basic in appearance, it can be a fun and competitive experience.
